1997 Nissan 4X4 Pick up

I have a 97 Nissan 4X4 truck with a 2.4 engine, I have just replaced the engine all new. The problem i have is it will not rev over 2500rpms the truck cranks good and runs good just cuts out when you get to 2500 rpms. feels just like a rev limiter. any help would be great.

Sounds like the TPS needs initial adjustment-won't hurt to check the AFM
