Hi there, I recently got this problem since I bought the car from someone else, the car stops suddenly while I'm in the road it happens twice a day but sometimes once a week.
However, the good thing is, when the car engine stops it will directly work after switching it on.

Please help me out because I'm tired from going garage by garage with no use at all.

Hi,

Are there any symptoms associated with this happening? Have the shops checked things like fuel pressure, the fuel filter, or for trouble codes which can be stored in the system?
Also, when it stalls, does it seem to happen when the engine is under a heavy load?

Let me know.

Joe

Hi Joe,

Yeah, I know what's going to be your reaction>>> :) really sorry
Long time ago.

However, the issue resolved after has been diagnostic by an expert around here.

The issue was the whole electrical JB. So, I totally replaced, problem eliminated.

Thank you

Hi Senshi, I am facing the same issue. I have taken my car to countless mechanics and replaced so many parts, but I still have the same problem. Can you be more specific? You mentioned you replaced the whole electrical system. What exactly should I tell my mechanic?

Hi,

It appears he had to replace the junction box. (Fuse/relay box). Is your vehicle the same year, make, and model?

My car is a 2008 model, but the engine was replaced with a 2010 model years ago. Here's a recent maintenance history:

- 2 days ago: Replaced spark plugs, air filter, and PCV valve.
- 1 week ago: Cleaned the throttle body, replaced oxygen sensors, and cleaned fuel injectors.
- 1 month ago: Replaced the evaporator and AC pipe due to a refrigerant leak.
- Last year: Replaced the fuel pump.

This morning, the car began stalling while idling without AC on during a cold start (3 times). Additionally, it stalled once after driving for 10 minutes and parking with the AC on. The car typically stalls at stoplights, in slow traffic.

I've taken my car to five different mechanics, who have tried their best to diagnose the issue. They've used diagnostic tools, but no error codes have been found. Unfortunately, no one has been able to resolve the problem. Car stalls despite all the above efforts.

Do you think replacing the junction box might fix the issue?

This problem does sounds electrical. I would replace the crankshaft position sensor first, then the MAF sensor and then the main engine relay. All of these can fail causing the engine it stall without leaving a code. Here is the location of the crankshaft sensor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
