1998 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Can I Reset The cars Computer without going to the garage?
I have not been able to start the car since we had temps. of 15 below. I replaced the plugs, wires. roter and cap. its got spark, and fuel, full charge on the battery. cranks well and sputters but won't start I removed the battery to charge it ( 12 hrs or so ) But not shore the computer was reset in the process.

Sure. You can go to Autozone, they would do it for free. Or, remove your battery terminals for 15 minutes. The only bad thing doing it that way is you lose radio memory, and the ECM has to "re-learn" your driving habits.

But I would not reset the check engine light without first fixing the problem, or at to very least, "know the problem".
