I have a check engine light and cannot find the computer? How do I read the codes from the computer?

The data link connector is what you are looking for and it is under the left side of the dash, below the fuse block.

First you said the connector was in the fuse box and I found that. How do you access the codes through the connector and if you cannot, where is the computer with the LED lights?

You need a Nissan Consult Tester (J-38465) to use with the DLC. just plug it in the DLC.
without scanner, you can use the LED system. the ECM is located under the center of dash

Yes the LED light is on the ECM itself, so once the console is removed you will have access to the ECM and the light
