1997 Nissan Sentra 1997 WON'T START

1997 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Automatic 110000 miles

When I turn the key all the lights on the dashboard come on as normal as well as the stereo but it doesn't start at all. There isn't even a clicking sound, nothing. Problem?

Hi Phil,

There are many reasons why there is no click.

1. Is the gear shift in park or neutral? Try if any of this positoon works.

2. Is the battery voltage at least 12.2 v?

3. Is the igniton switch faulty?

4. Did you check for blown fuses?

5. If equipped with alarm system, is it malfunctioning or armed?
