1994 Nissan Sentra clutch

i was driving on the freeway the car was in 5th gear, it poped out of 5 and would not go it to 4th or 5th gear after that. The car would go into 1st 2nd and 3rd gear but would make a grinding noise, i would like to know if its my clutch or the trassmision

It is your transmission, not clutch.
