Car will start and when idling it will die?

The car will start and when idling it will die and when you go to restart it it acts like theres no power whatsoever, after sitting for a while it will start again, it might be something electrical, gets hot it dies cools off it starts.I just replaced the starter thing it was that but it still does it.

Have the auxilliary air control valve and throttle position sensor tested. Might also want to check the fuel system pressure.

To me it sounds like the battery shorting out internally, I would remove the battery and have it tested at the autoparts store. Here is a generic guide to help you step by step with instructions in the diagrams below to show you how on your car.
