I have replaced the Alternator but am still having a power drain and the car stops. What else could it be. I have had the new alternator tested and it passed. I have a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder with over 160 thousand miles on it. When I jump it it works for about 5 minutes. Then the car stops. I have charged the battery and made sure of all the connections leading to the Alternator the battery and the Starter to make sure I do not have a connection problem. Help. What could it be.

Start the Path and check the running voltages, it should be 13.5 - 15.5 loaded with headlight and heater On-if not Check the battery open voltage should read 12.6 volts or better.
