1998 Nissan Maxima SE 118,000mi. When it is cold outside my speedometer and odometer work fine. But in the summer they do not work. Occasionaly the speedometer will jump up to my current speed but then it goes right back to zero. When the speedometer does not work the odometer does not roll, but when the speedometer does work the odometer will roll. Also, when the speedometer does not work the cruise control does not work, but when the speedometer works, so does the cruise control.
