2002 Nissan Maxima Oil leak

My Nissan is leaking oil...fairly badly. There's stains on the street, but no smoky exhaust. I assume the crankcase has a leak somewhere. I can't afford a new engine. I can't afford to trade in the car. Can't I do something? We love this car!

I'm no car expert. We need advice.

Hi there,

you will have to wash the engine down and try and locate this leak, if you see a fresh leak try and describe what you see leaking and i will try to advise further.
