1997 Nissan Maxima 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 132k miles

Sometimes when I start my car, the dome light stays on and the windows, air, speedometer and odometer don't come on. The radio starts just fine. After a minute or so of driving the ABS light comes on and everything starts working. The car also starts fine.

Sounds like it could be a problem with the ignition switch, It powers up all that you describe. The Body Control Module-BCM (behind center of dash) is triggered by the ign switch need to test for power at the pink/green on the BCM wire when the accessories arent working to see if the switch is working
