Hi! My Nissan Frontier has a rough and shaking engine when idle. I tried to raise the RPM but it seems could hardly go up. I tried again to leave it on idle but the engine dies after a few minutes. My husband change the MAF sensor, change the distributor with rotor, plug wire and spark plug. He also do fuel pressure and compression test of the cylinders, but still not doing well. What would likely be the problem of this truck? Please help to minimize my expenses. Thanks a lot for a helping hand.

Hi gemma2566,

Thank you for the donation.

First I would suggest giving the throttle body a cleanup with with carb cleaner followed by readjusting the idle speed.

What is the idling speed after warming up?
Are the compression of all cylinder similar?
Is the MIL indicating any error?

Hi, my husband did everything what you have told, but he still it did not work at all. He told me that he's just wasting his time in doing this procedure.
Thanks anyway for the suggestions even though it isn't work.
