1999 Nissan Frontier XE 4WD extended cab Pickup
98,700 miles

Only the highest speed of my cab heater (blower) is functional. The lower 3 speeds do not work. Is this probably a bad capacitor or a relay of some kind? How do I locate the relay, capacitor, or switch for replacement? How should I attack this problem?

Thank you!

first check the switch.. some times i found that the plastic melts in to the contacts, because of the load heat ......

start checking that.

try replacing your blower motor resistor, I have a subaru that had the same problem, bought one from a junk yard for $2.50 because they are around 50.00 for my car. that solved the problem.
check behind glovebox in heater housing if not there go to www.autozone.com they have a link to tell you where it is.
