2003 Nissan Altima Rev limitation after filling up gas

After filling up gas tank, the enjine will not rev over 2000-2500 rpm in park. Once it is put in gear it barely moves or stalls out. Taking the negative terminal off the battery seems to have restarted or reset the electrical device that is effecting this situation. Any ideas of where to trouble shoot or a part that is most likely the culprit. Thanks

It is idling real rough. When I put it in drive and press the gas pedal too fast. There is a long delay before it actually starts to accelerate. Sometimes 20-30 seconds.I hooked up to check error codes. NONE. PASS on all counts. Rumors include. Mass Airflow. Bad Gas. Not sure yet what the issue is though.
