2003 Nissan Altima ignition lock

In trying to start the car, the ignition wont turn. Its currently parked on a slight hill-facing upward.
any ideas on why the ignition is locked which is preventing the car from being started?

Did you move the stearing wheel around to loosen it from it position. Move the shifter as well if that does not take care of it. Iwould think that is not a big deal but will have to wai and see if that cures that problem.
