Electrical problem
1994 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My daughter, who is very small, recently had a slight wreck in her 1994 Nissan Altima. She hit her front bumper with another car and both air bags deployed causing her to be injured. The wreck did not hurt her but the air bags did. Now her car will not start and I have been told that it will not crank until I replace the air bag contrl and the air bags. I do not want the air bag reinstalled. Is there a way to either bypass the air bag control so the car will crank or is there a way to install a new air bag control and then bypass the air bags themselves? I need help, This is her only car and she is in college, not much money to go around. Thank You

Hello
Thanks for the donation.

You are talking about disabling an extremely vital part of the safety system of a vehicle. Unfortunately, we can not give you such information. That is extremely dangerous and should not be done. You should have your vehicle repaired and the airbag module replaced at a certified repair shop.
