Question
1990 nissan 240sx ka24e manul trans

ok so I can drive my car but it will cut out every now and then im able to some what rev my engine when it does to try and save it with the clutch in. My engine has power my car has power just wont do anything the RPMs sputter I guess you could say. When it cutts out

i replaced the fuel pump thinking it was a fuel problem but then it did it again, when it cuts out in gear its like my engine has power but my wheels dont, il lhave to shut my car off and wait about min. 5 mins befor it will start up
it turns over but wont start, if it hasnt bin long enough and I have power I can light my dash, listion to music ext.

could it be bad plugs and wires, rotor and cap
could it be my ingectors need to be cleaned

any ideas? Hope this makes sence

I drive a 92 240sx ka24de. IF you can still start up your car every 5 minutes then it's not your fuel system. It shouldn't even start if it was. It maybe your crank sensor inside the distributor. When it gets hot, it causes your rpm to sputter and then your car goes off. It will start up fine after it cools off then dies when car warms up. Try changing out your distributor. Get a cheap one from the junkyard $100 or new one $200-300.
