This is a huge job for you to try at home. If you are up for it, I will get you the instructions for removing the head.
As far as cost for the repair, if you had a shop do it, you would be looking at $1,500.00 to $1,800.00. If you do it, the parts will be the only costs. That would be around $300.00 to $500.00.
