We replace the head gasket on my car. We changed out the timing belt all the gaskets everything, put it back together and we went to crank it at just squirted a lot of gas out of the injectors but would not crank. Everything sounds like a has compression we are putting out spark plugs could that be the problem. It does turn over but it just will not crank. Could it be the timing chain at a time or something? We thought we put little marks on it to get it back in place, but I do not know.

Good afternoon.

Do you mean the injectors are leaking externally?

I would start with a compression test to verify it has sufficient compression to start.

I guess you mean for securing the rail. That may be why the fuel is leaking as you said.
