Hi,
If the navigation isn't working, it could be several different problems. The navigation unit itself could be bad or disconnected, the navigation screen could be bad or not connected, you could have a blown fuse, and so on.
Let's start simple. First, I need you to check fuse 7 in the fuse box under the dash. See pic 1 below for the location. In addition to checking the fuse's condition, make sure there is power to and from it.

If that is good, open the trunk and locate the navigation module. See pic 2 below. Make sure all connections are tight and connected. Also, make sure there is no evidence of damage to the wiring.
IF that checks good, then you really should have the can-bus system scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all the computers/modules are tied together via a few wires. If you scan the can-bus, it will pull codes regardless of the module storing it.
Here is a video showing it being done:

Also, if you look at the last two pics, they are the wiring schematic for the navigation. I had to cut the pic in half to make it readable for you, but I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next. I highlighted the power supply from fuse one. If you can, check the white wire with a red tracer at the navigation module in the trunk. You will need to disconnect the harness to do this and power should be turned on at the key.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions. Also, don't be intimidated by the schematics. Let me know if you need help.
Take care,
Joe
