Every manufacturer is having trouble with their six disc changers. It's just a matter of how long it will work properly before developing a problem. Every once in a while there will be one that resolves the problem after disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. What you might try is removing the radio fuse and its memory fuse for a few minutes first. If that doesn't help, then try the battery cable. The memory fuse is usually tied in with a different circuit that is always live. Interior lights is a common one.
The reason for resorting to the battery cable last is there are so many other computers on cars now and some of them lock up after the battery is disconnected or run dead. Volkswagen is a perfect example where you will be towing their vehicles to the dealership after simply disconnecting or replacing the battery, or running it dead. It might be better to inquire at the Honda dealership first.
