This car has a Pontiac 400 in itI. I have changed thermostat, radiator, fans belts, and hoses. No water on the oil, no steamy exhaust. It runs hot after about 20 minutes and you can let it cool and check the coolant and its still full.

Hello,

This could be a problem with your vehicle's water pump starting to fail. The water pump should have a hole on the bottom of it called a weep hole that is designed to let coolant leak out of it when the bearing fails to keep the pump from completely freezing up. Check to see if you have a little coolant leaking and if you do I have included the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part number for the water pump for your vehicle as well as the instructions for the removal and installation of the water pump for your vehicle in the diagrams down below. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
