Crank not start issue?

I've recently replaced the spark plugs, distributor, and got a brand-new battery. but my motor just turns and turns it kind of starts up using starting fluid but just a quick second if that even.

Hi Bobby, could you record it cranking and upload it for me to hear?

Also, was the engine running prior to the repairs? Are you certain the spark plug wires are replaced in the correct order? The idea that you get a brief start with starting fluid tells me it is getting an ignition spark. That leads me to think something is off with the new plugs or wires.

Also, you mentioned the distributor. Did you replace the entire distributor or just the cap and rotor?

Take a look at this link. You may find it helpful. I believe your vehicle has a carburetor and is not fuel injected, so some of the things listed won't be relevant.
