I just replaced all 4 motor mounts and the engine still vibrates hard which you can feel throughout the car. It only happens when it is in reverse or drive at a full stop. As soon as the RPM gets over 1,000 the hard vibration is gone and the car drives and sounds smooth. I have tested the motor to replicate the vibration of a misfiring engine and pulled a vacuum line and they are not the same so I can rule out a bad plug or coil. Also I can rule a vacuum leak as the vibrations are not the same. I have already replaced the following: Oil Control Valve, Mass Air Sensor, O2 sensor, Engine Temperature Sensor, Fuel Pump and filter, Coil Packs, Spark Plugs. As soon as the you put the car in drive or reverse I can see and hear the motor vibrate harder. The idle RPM seems fine and does not below 600. There is no fluctuation up or down at idle. Please advise.

This is a balance shaft engine which it sounds like is having an issue. This balance shaft set up is located in the engine oil pan. Here are tow diagrams to help us check it out. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? That would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
