I have a 1984 Ford Ltd Crown Victoria 2dr coupe with a 302 5.0 Windsor engine. My plan is to rebuild it, but I want to rebuild it with some performance parts such as heads, intake manifold, and a light cam. I want to make it sound aggressive and have it pulling down the street pretty speedy as in street performance, not too fast but running pretty good when I accelerate. I just want to ask y’all about how I should go with this by not just spending a whole lot of money. I’m sure that y’all suggestions with definitely help me. thanks

The best way to gain power from an engine is to up the compression and add a mild camshaft, you want to check to make sure the valve retainers do not touch the valve stem seal which can happen with a large camshaft. Check out this video of a performance build, you don't need to go full on like this one is, but it has a bunch of good information that can help you achieve your goals.
