When I try to close the moon/sunroof on my vehicle the glass moves about 6 inches, then the inside shade closes. But the glass won't go any farther than that. I have had a shower curtain taped over the opening and a tarp over the car to keep it dry inside. What can I try to get it to close?

So, what happens on these is the motor has a resistance maximum level and when it reaches it the sunroof will stop closing. I would use wd40 and spray the tracks down on each slide. If this doesn't work, then the sunroof motor will need to be replaced. Here are the instructions to do so in the images below. Make sure you do the initialization procedure that I have included as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.

I will try to WD the tracks, and if that doesn't work, then I will replace the motor either as soon as I get a good break from the rain or when I can get it in out of the rain, whichever comes first.
