I noticed some mixture of oil and water in my qr20 engine, I checked the radiator if they was any oil mixed with coolant, but my coolant had no mixture with oil. I removed the head and have it skimmed replaced the gasket, started the car for 48 hours there was no mixture but when I drove it for 10ks it showed the mixture of water to oil, in an engine, checked if the car has the oil cooler. There is ATF cooler from the radiator. What could be the problem? Someone advised to skim the engine block. Can it help?

Good morning,

Water in the oil is an indication of leaking from the head gasket.

When the head was removed, you had it planed, which is the correct way of doing it, but did they also check it for cracks? Cracks are common and will cause this.

The block generally does not warp unless there was a severe overheating condition.

The other thing is the head bolts. Did you replace all the head bolts? If you used the old bolts, they may have failed to keep the head secured to the block. They are called torque to yield bolts and are 1-time use only.
