1998 Mitsubishi Pajero Automatic

I have a friend who asked me a question really n i cant figure it out. any ideas how the engine oil can leak into the tranny cos he says the engine oil lvl goes down while the tranny lvl goes up????

Hi there,

This can not happen, there is no place that engine oil can enter the transmission, what he may be seeing is very dirty, burnt transmission oil, this will look very dark like engine oil, it will smell different to engine oil and will be thinner, check this out.
