Okay so my 3000gt is blowing white smoke from the tail pipe, usually it does it after the car is warm, and the only time I see it is when the car is at a stop. It is very continuous and it has almost overheated several times. I check the coolant and it seems to be boiling so I wait for it to cool then start driving again, but I've always been cautious not to let it get in the red. I dont see any fluid leakage on my driveway so I'm not sure what this could mean. It does although burn oil so I have to check it once a week, but I just figured that it was because the car was so old. Please advise. Thanks!

Hi there,

White smoke is a sign of coolant in the combustion chamber, I would be getting a head check done for exhaust gasses in the cooling system, start here.

Hi there,

You can get a head check done, this will check for any exhaust gasses in the cooling system, this is a sure sign that you have a problem with the cylinder head or gasket, check the link at the bottom of this reply for your work shop manual requirements.
