My car won't start without getting jump started. Today driving down the road, the engine shut off and would not start up again until my friend jumped me. I kept if revved and was able to go 50 yd until i clutched it and it died again. Any ideas? Thanks

I would say a nonfunctioning alternator that led to a very discharged battery. So charge up batt get to Auto Zone have alt checked repair as necessary. Or tow it to a local garage.
