1995 Mirage

I have a mitsubishi mirage, 1995, driven 82000 km, and engine size 1.4. It has never given any problems for the last 8 years that I have driven it for, except last week the engine cut out while I was driving. It took a while before it start up again and got me home! Since then it tries to start up but the engine only runs for couple of seconds before dieing out. And now the power and egnition is there but it wont start at all! Can you help please?

Remove a spark plug and check if there is a blue spark with the spark plug attached to the wire and grounded. If no spark, then it is an electrical problem. Distributor? :D :) :idea:
