When it comes to warranties, clutch's are like brake pads, they are considered wearing items. Your mileage is far too soon to need one, has the car been driven a little rough. Lol. Has it been stop and go or freeway miles? Any mods to the vehicle or engine? Sometimes you can plead your case and if the service manager is feeling nice they will warranty them, but not too often. The labor guide shows about 7.4 hours to do that clutch, at a dealer that will cost you about 600 just in labor and about 300-400 for the clucth kit (NEW disc, plate, and all req'd bearings). Add on fluid for the trans and incidentals and it will be expensive.A good independant shop, maybe even one that specializes in these cars would be less expensive.I dont suggest this as a DIY project, at 7.4 hours it is alot of work and will require hangers for the engine so the front sub-frame can be removed.
