I through 2 rods in my eclipse and one busted straight through my oil pan and I dont know if I have to get a new motor or just replace the crank? How would I replace the crankshaft, if needed to to be replaced? And about how much do u think this would cost?

Hi there,

The engine must be removed and dismantled to remove the crank, you will have to have a good look at the bores as well as the piston may have damaged the cylinder walls, it may be cheaper to get a re-co or second hand engine, a few phone calls will set you straight.
