I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0L GS Non-turbo. I have been having car problems for a while it would start fine but then it would die when I would slow down and I would hafta wait a while and it would start back up. I recently changed my air filter and hoses. Then I went to change the spark plugs and the hole that the plugs are in are completely full of oil. I know this is bad but I dont know what to do to fix the problem. Can I do it myself?

YES. I think you can do it yourself. Purchase a valve cover gasket set. There should be a gasket for the valve cover & plus 4 small round tube seals to keep oil out of the spark plug hole. Remove coil pack & plug wires. Change the gasket & tube seals. Don't forget to put silicone in the 4 corners of the gasket near the cam. Try & get that oil out of there where the plugs are. If not just replace the plugs. The oil that gets in the combustion chamber will burn off without much problem. Let us know how it goes. & Thanx for the post
