98 tracer

I have a 98 tracer 116,000 miles 4 cyl
battery light started blinking last week(2x)
driving home today slowed down for turn & speedometer went freaky, the radio stopped working but was still lit up, the signal light would not blink, got home parked car car stalled. After about 3 hours car started right up radio worked, lights worked, speedometer did not work car stalled will not start
what could be the problem and how do I get it fixed
