Hi, I just got this car it would barely run when i got it i thought maybe the timing belt had jumped but when i checked firing order i found out that none of the wires were on correctly i re done them but it still runs rough and the oil smells like gas could it be that it was misfiring and not burning the gas or is there another problem I'm going to buy a code scanner to read the CPU with and see if any thing needs replaced. any help would by a great starting place.
Thanks Tim

Hi there,

You may just need to flush the oil change the filter and replace the spark plugs, if the ignition leads were crossed you may have just been flooding the engine with fuel , do this first.
