Engine Cooling problem
1993 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I just bought a new waterpump for my car and I had a friend working on it but when he was trying to switch it out he said that there is a metal pipe at the bottom of the water pump where the hose attaches to the water pump and that it is rusted and stuck. I need to find a new replacement pipe but I cant seem to find it online or at any autopart store. What is this called and where can I look?

First of all thank you so much for your donation. Do you have a 3.0L or a 3.8L engine?Are you talking about the hose that goes to the water pump?Or the nipple the hose goes to on the water pump?
