I have 93 mercury sable.160000mileage. I don't get heat anywhere inside the car. Is it Heater core problem? But I do not get anti-freeze smell at all. There is an issuse with engine. Engine is leaking oil. Does it cause heat problem? Any idea please. Appreciate it.

Dunno yet till you check the thermostat-if its not the thermostat or heater core -its problably an air mix/blend/mode door problem or vacuum/actuators-HVAC control module.

I understood that fixing heater core is costly and thermostat is cheap. How's about repairing other stuffs you suggested? Are they costly too? Let says problem is heater core. Roughly how much do I have to spend heater core this car model(93 mercury sable)? Thanks!
