How do you change the bulb under the puddle lights? Can this be done by the owner?
What bulb does it take?

Underneath the mirror there should be a clear plastic part with two screws, remove the screws, remove the cover, remove the bulb. The bulb is a 168

Hello,

My driver's side courtesy lamp under the mirror is not working.I figured it was a bad bulb so I replaced it with the correct one and it still isn't working. The power mirror itself still works. Also it's a heated mirror as well. What do you think could be the problem? Bad mirror overall? Bad connection? Wiring somewhere in the mirror get disconnected?

Thanks!

Check the Puddle Lamp Relay which is located in the REAR Juunction box.
If you have another identical relay in the fuse box, to check tthe puddle lamp relay simply swap the current relay with another (identical) one.

If that is not the problem. Remove the bulb that isn't working and check for power (12v) at the socket. Also check the ground at that socket.
If you get power there then it's just a matter of correcting the faulty connection between the socket and bulb.
If no power, trace the wire to find the open/broken wire.
