My wheels are straining when i make a sharp turn. They will snatch back on their own really fast when I am turning. They even strain and almost come to a complete stop when I am in reverse. There is a popping noise when i turn. What could this be?

Have you checked the CV joints? Also, have you checked the steering components including the ball joints?
