2005 Mercury Marquis brake lights

My brake lights stay on all the time. To prevent the battery from going daed overnight I have to remove the 2 fuses. I tried to fine the brake light switch but can't find it. I found one switch and unplugged it but that must not have been the one because the lights still stayed on

the brake light switch should be located mounted right near the brake pedal where the bracket goes up to the booster, it is a switch that is pushed in when the brake is released, and when the pedal is pushed down/depressed the switch is released and hte lights come on.
