1988 Mercury Cougar head light switch

I have a rocker switch for my headlihts. It is factory. I Really like my Cougar but if I cant make the lights work I am goin to have to et rid of it. Here is the problem. The light switch that it takes has been discontinued and I have tried to find a used one but all my attemts have failed could you please advise on how to set up a switch that will handle this heavy load?

try to get new one it should be reasonable enough
