2002 Mercedes Benz C230 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Recently my trans. Oil cooler leaked glycol into the trans. It was flushed and the radiator was replaced. Isn't this really uncommon?

For awhile Mercedes had 2 different manufactures who provided radiators. One company, Valero, had 2 different designs. One was prone to failer due to its design. Coolant would leak into the trans. Recommend repairs where replacing the torque convertor and flushing the trans line an transmission. Also replacing the radiator. This is not rare. I believe only a few years/and models where affected.
