We have a 1999 C230. We just had a repair done in which the accessory belt tensioner, the accessory belt idler pulley, both belts, and the supercharger were replaced. Cost $2200.
After about 50 miles, the "check engine" light is now on. Could this be a result of the repair or the repair not working?
If not, what else would cause the light to come on?
Thanks,
Tony

Hi there,
The check light may or may not be due to the recent repairs. You will have to get a scan done to identify the fault and see what it is indicatioing.
