on occasion my car has a white to light blue smoke that comes out when i take off from a stop. my last smog check showed high hydrocarbons and my car has idelled a little rough lately could it need a tune up or is the smoke something serious

Hi there,

A tune is always a good idea, what oil are you using? for your car you can use a mineral oil, you can try a 20W-50 this may help the smoking issue.

all u have to do is use chevron with techron gasoline (regular is ok) and add techson fuel additive for a quick response, is what i did and in a matter of a few miles the hesitation was gone......... ram
