I am 17 and just bought my first vechicle and it is a 93 Mazda B2200 truck. It is 4 cy, 5 speed and my clutch is slipping or at lest thats what I think and my father thinks but I am wondering if there is anyway to adjust the clutch. It has a hydrolic clutch and I know nothing about it except where to check the fluid. If you could tell me if there is anyway in adjusting the clucth or how long it should take me and my father (who are wana-be back yard mechanics) to change the clucth entirely. Thanks

Only way I know of to adjust the clutch is to just make sure the clutch pedal is at the right height in the cab. Changing a clutch isnt too hard a job and would probably solve the slipping issues. Go grab yourself a haynes or chilton manual for you car for $15 bucks and a new clutch kit (might grab the slave cylinder while your at it) and the manual should walk ya right through it.

Well if its slipping there is no hope for it, the tranny's got to come out. The clutches are NOT adjustable. Don't try to adjust the pedal, there is none.

The tranny is pretty easy to get out fothe b2200.
