Hi there,

Has the same gear been the problem? Who is the clutch pressure and is there any excessive free play in the clutch?

Hi Mark - Thanks for responding - Yes, the two times that it has happened is when I'm shifting into 4th gear - some times the clutch petal seems easier than normal and some times the gears seem harder to shift than others. It's kind of strange but when this problem ocurs, I get the feeling, just from listening, that when it's stuck in neutral that something is spinning in the gears and that is what won't let me shift into 4th gear. After a few minutes, it feels like it stops spinning and I push in the clutch and it goes into gear. Maybe thats just my imagination, I don't know, but any thoughts you might have on this will be appreciated.

Hi there,

I would start by changing the gearbox oil and inspecting the oil for any excess metal, particular brass from a syncro ring. Try to double clutch 4th gear. That is clutch change to neutral release clutch, depress clutch select 4th relaese clutch all in one continuous action don't let is sit in neural just clutch neutral clutch gear. See how that goes.
