1991 Rx7 - I'm gonna cry
Also, if your car started before, the your problem is your starter. With a bad starter, your car will try to turn on but it will never do so since it will never get enough power. You can also check your spark plugs and spark plug wires, with are the things that start your engine.
Cosmo...mazda tech
anyways thanks.. :D i sent you a pm.
Suggested Repair
Deflood the engine, install a fresh set of spark plugs, and change the oil and filter. RX-7 engines are prone to flooding after sitting and can dump enough fuel to foul the plugs. If it still will not start after deflooding, perform a compression test to check for engine damage.
Conversation Summary
A 1991 Mazda RX-7 convertible would not start after a recent transmission replacement, cranking but failing to fire. The owner reported heavy fuel delivery soaking the plugs despite spark at the leading and trailing plugs, and questioned the MAF, secondary injectors, and injector fitment. Other users suggested checking the transmission match, starter, plugs, wires, and coil. The Mazda technician said the transmission was unrelated and that the engine was likely flooded or, less likely, had low compression. RX-7s commonly flood after sitting and inject a large amount of fuel, so injectors were not the first concern. The recommended steps were to deflood the engine, fit fresh plugs, and change the oil, with a compression test if needed. The owner confirmed severe flooding and resolved it by changing the oil and filter, replacing the plugs, and cranking the fuel out of the rotors. Fuel-rail pressure held, so a leaking injector was not indicated.
