1993 Mazda Protege LX 140,000 miles
hi, my car has a brake problem. the warning light for brakes stays on, so i check the fluid and found it was gone. so i replaced it and tried testing the brakes. they maintain normal pressure for only a few moments then went strtaight to the floor. I checked underneath and all the fluid leaked out. I've been told tht this is caused by messed master cylinder. but when i looked under the car i notced the brake fluid was also on these pipes to the rear(brake lines?) how can i be sure exactly what the problem is and what is the best course of action?
