98 Mazda Protege wire boot stuck in block

i was giving the car a tune up the other day and the boots on my plug wires came off i tried to use a screw driver to get them out with no luck anyone know a trick?

I have 'pick tools' or Dental tools for such problems....

If your at home you might be ablew to make soemthing out of a coat hanger bent at a 90 degree angle and cut off very short
